Here's how the San Francisco Chronicle described the show:  "Forget the pyrotechnics, fog machines and cheesy background music - this isn't Caesars Palace. Absolute Magic focuses on the interactive and communal aspects of a magic show rather than the spectacle. Featured are local magicians RJ Owens - whose avuncular charm and offbeat brand of comedy magic will have you somewhere between smirking and outright chortling (depending on your sheepishness) - and Adam Sachs, with his mystifying sleight of hand, which may require reminders to close your mouth."
Tickets are $25, and there’s a two drink minimum.

Founded in 1998, it features live world music by Fontain's Muse.

He has also produced "Magic Mike's Funhouse!", a live fund-raiser show and Saturday morning kids tv show, with an original soundtrack available on cd.

And, utilizing the latest technology mixed with magical methods, his act  "Quazar and Nebula" is a unique performance of magic with neon light, lasers, and special fx.

He is also the best-selling author of the Klutz Book of Magic, which has sold over 2 million copies and is responsible for starting other famous magician's careers!

Creative, original, and refreshing, he blends magic techniques from cultures around the world with comedy, sleight-of-hand, and circus skills.

A repeat performer at the famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, his 12-time award-winning magic can be seen on the streets of San Francisco at Fisherman's Wharf, to corporate events for Apple, Oracle, and IBM, to private society parties for the likes of Steve Wozniak, the San Francisco 49ers, and various Los Angeles celebrities. Jeffrey KorstJeffrey Korst
He has been performing magic for over 30 years at private parties-as well as in nightclubs, restaurants, hotels and review shows.

That said, he came to magic later than many. Magic was always an interest.

When he was 18, he found a book on sleight of hand. Four years later, he was working as a full time magician.

Now, he is busy creating new material and performing at private parties. He would love to be at yours! http://www.jeffreykorst.com/magic/index.html

Scott Alcalay

Like most boys, began playing with magic at a young age; however, unlike most, Scott began performing magic at age 11. When Scott was in the 4th grade, he entered a talent show sponsored by the local Optimists Club. To his surprise, he won... 1st Place , and that started him on the path to pursuing a career in magic.

As a kid he was doing kid’s birthday shows throughout Los Angeles . Scott was widely requested to perform his sleight-of-hand skills on the “living room circuit” and Los Angeles charitable events.

In 1981 Scott took his talents to the one and only World Famous Magic Castle in Hollywood California and was accepted. He soon became a regular performing member.
Since 1989 Scott has been residing in Northern California where he performs for private parties and corporate events. www.scottalcalay.com

Dan Chan

Daniel Chan is a graduate of the San Francisco Circus Center and the prestigious Chavez Course in magic. Dan Chan masters more than most, promises more than expected, and delivers more than hoped. He’s been called “an intense, three-ring circus rolled into one man” – and for good reason. Dan Chan the Magic Man merges several specialties from the world of variety arts into a singular experience. From pure and technical sleight-of-hand to authentic pick pocketing; from world-class juggling to circus stunts; from fire breathing to fire-juggling; from escapes to dog tricks; acrobatics to quick-change costumes; and even the rare and ancient Chinese art of Bian Lian — where colorful masks transform instantly one to the next — Dan Chan creates excitement wherever he performs. Dan Chan the Magic Man is the ultimate variety show.

His unique combination of talents has made him the only choice for the U.S. Marine Corps in Japan four times and for film legend George Lucas at Skywalker Ranch.

He once logged 20 plus shows in one week at the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood. He’s also performed for 187 billionaires in Sun Valley, Idaho. Google put him in front of 10,000 people at its company picnic. Circus Circus, Circus Chimera, and Cirque Du Soleil put him backstage to entertain their cast. www.danchanmagic.com

Robert StrongRobert Strong

The Comedy Magician
Customized magic for corporate events!
Robert Strong has been crisscrossing the world since 1985, entertaining audiences large and small, young and old, formal and casual, and everything in between! Twice voted “San Francisco’s Best Comedian”, he has appeared on every major television network, in all 50 states, in over 30 countries, and for two Presidents of the United States.

Although Robert specializes as a corporate entertainer, he regularly appears at a broad range of events: trade shows, conventions, product launches, cruise ships, colleges, comedy clubs, private parties, political events, and much more.

No two Robert Strong shows are ever the same! He believes in creating a unique experience for each audience that is both interactive and magical. Robert’s enthusiasm and charisma leave audiences buzzing with excitement and memories that will last a lifetime!

It all started when young Robert Strong visited Baltimore. A magician in the Amphitheater mesmerized him. At that moment Robert vowed to be the best magician ever. His parents considered therapy, but magic lessons were cheaper.

Robert continued training at Tannen’s Magic School in New York and Towson University in Maryland. He then studied with touring stand-up comedians, Cirque du Soleil choreographers, Ringling Brothers circus clowns, Broadway directors, and world-class jugglers.

Because Robert has worked all over the world, he has mastered performing for multi-lingual audiences. His shows are very visual. Wherever Robert goes, he still carries that sense of wonder and passion for magic that he first experienced as a youngster in Baltimore, but now he is the one doing the entertaining! http://www.strongentertainment.com/
